Bet Synergy – Another Set Of Empty Promises
December 17, 2008 · Print This Article
The sales page for Bet Synergy is another classic example of online marketing gone wrong. The sales page tells us just how rubbish all the other betting systems are, but how good Bet Synergy is; how different it is from all the other systems. How the other systems are just gimmicks while Bet Synergy is the One True System. Everyone who uses other betting systems is a loser (it actually uses that word). Betting Synergy, however, can quickly help you to win over £12,000 over three months (representing a 20% return on investment, apparently). The conclusion? Well this must be the only real betting system, the only one that matters, right?
Well, wrong. Like so many of these overstated sales pages the Betting Synergy gambling system just tries too hard, and it’s fairly easy to see that this is going to be yet another gambling system that promises the world and then delivers very little. I bought it to find out and, yep, you guessed it. Rubbish.
Betting Synergy uses basic hard statistics to work out which horse is going to win. Whilst I normally like this kind of approach – it allows me to bet even though I have no knowledge of betting or of horse racing — I can’t help feeling that the Bet Synergy approach is just fundamentally flawed.
I’m always a little suspicious of sales pages that big themselves up in such a way, and to be honest what I’ve seen of the results so far (fortunately betting with paper money rather than the actual stuff for now) do nothing to allay my fears!
It’s not so much that the system doesn’t work that annoys me (I’m used to that happening to me!) but that the sales page is filled with so much hyperbole and big talk. The best betting systems I have found have been relatively understated because the results speak for themselves.
