Overview
Football Cash Generator (FCG) is a legendary Betfair trading system for trading on In-Play soccer games. I really like the link on Bet-U-Win.com website: “The Original Is Still the Best.” Football Cash Generator is one of the most successful marketing tricks ever made in the betting system market.
The timing was perfect – Betfair just started to roll out. The idea was perfect – people knew that there must be some kind of way to lock in guaranteed profits by exploiting price movements during In-Play soccer games.
At a time when FCG first become available, there weren’t any other In-Play soccer systems available on market. Hence, FCG made a small fortune to the seller.
Years have past, and we have seen many similar systems popping-up like mushrooms after the rain:-) After hundreds of negative posts on betting forums all around the world, FCG is still for sale. And I believe there are still people who buy it. So what’s behind the scenes?
I’m already tired of repeating this, but once again, I didn’t receive any responses to my e-mails. It seems that it’s not even worth trying to contact these sellers – a total waste of time. I believe these sellers have a very strict selling policy: “So you’re buying or not? Don’t waste my time!”
There’s a very interesting guarantee offered by a seller. I had to keep all betting records for one month, if the system didn’t show a profit in that period, I just had to send the book back (with betting records) to receive full refund. Well, I did send the book back with all records but no one answered my e-mails. Funny, isn’t it?
The System
The Football Cash Generator system is very easy to learn. The idea is very simple: “Lay” the draw before kick-off, wait for a goal and then place a “Back” bet for a guaranteed profit. It looks so genius at first, disappointment comes after only 20 or 30 games.
There are no game selection rules – FCG advises to place bets on all the games that you can. Whether it is a Premiership, Friendlies or U-18, you don’t even have to look at odds – just place a bet and wait for a goal to be scored.
There’s an insurance bet as well – you have to place a small bet on a correct score 0-0, which will cover loses if there is no goal scored in the game. From my experience, if you do place an “insurance bet” you practically eliminate any chance to trade out in profit when a goal is scored. Or if you’ll get high enough odds, profits will be very small.
The author writes in the book that he very rarely uses “insurance bet” because he know his stuff! Yeah, of course he knows – just look at the example trades included in FCG. In almost on every single game, he makes weird moves by backing out, and at a times not following the system. For example:
“It looks that Arsenal is very strong today. I will place back bet straight away. Yes! Right move – Arsenal scored 2 minutes after my trade.”
And so on. Even more ridiculous are last minute strategies when a goal hasn’t been scored. Like place a bet on “no more goals,” if there is a goal, double the bet etc. In a word – a total mug’s game!
Risk Level
Football Cash Generator may not be the most risky betting system out there, because you will win on few games, and you’ll lose on other ones. Basically you’ll lose money slowly, which is good – hopefully you’ll get out of the trap quickly!
Betting Bank
With FCG, you can use whatever size of betting bank you’re comfortable with. You can place 10% on each trade, which will be a safe approach, because in many matches goal will be scored and you won’t lose a penny. Remember, your first bet will be “Lay Bet,” so calculate the lay bet liability as your stake.
Results
I tested FCG for a one month period. I used a “virtual” bank of £1000 and traded on around 50 games. Maybe I wasn’t lucky with game selection (the system doesn’t say that you have to use any filters), but by the end of the month my betting bank was down to £700. Bad luck?
Conclusions
Without a doubt, Football Cash generator has a special place in trading systems history. We have seen many new strategies created based on FCG ideas and some of them are really good.
So a big thanks to FCG for opening up our minds! But to pay £77 for this 70 page glossy booklet? No, Thanks… not anymore.

I have been testing the Football Cash Generator and have produced a Podcast - Wizardgold Podcast 35 in which I talk about how I am getting on with it. I point out some pitfalls and give my opinons about how to use it.
