Football System Doesn’t Reach Back Of Net

Like many of the people who write reviews for this Reader’s Experience column, I’m a fan of gambling systems – at least I’m a fan of the concept of gambling systems. The truth is that I’ve been more than a little disappointed with many of the systems I’ve tried over the years. I held high hopes for Football Maestro as it really did promise astonishing results. Like many of these systems that provide astonishing results, though, it fails to deliver on many levels.
The idea behind the Football Maestro challenge – a sideline to the Football Maestro system proper – is to make £10,000 out of just £100 of seed money. There is little or no structure behind the type of bets that they make, but the system pretty much relies on getting a near 100% strike rate. Sounds admirable, but in reality it’s going to be pretty much impossible.
I suppose there’s a lot to be said for such a large potential outlay for such a small starting stake, but if you’re going to just throw the money away then there’s little point in putting any money in the pot to start with, never mind £100. Because the bets will accumulate as we go through the season those at the end – if the system allows us to get that far – are going to be massive.
And all this promise on very little evidence of being anywhere near good at producing the goods. I really can’t see the point in this ’system’ which; we’re expected to trust our money on the judgement of one person just because he promises the world?
But I expect the Football Maestro and the challenge will sell because people are eager to lap up the lies fed to them by their betting masters. Don’t get me wrong: I have been there and laboured under the illusion that I would be rich by the end of the year. It’s simply not that simple!
Having said all this, I would of course love to be proved wrong, and I’m going to throw my £100 into the ring regardless!
