Overview
I stumbled accross Market Feeder Pro (MFP) during a time when I was looking for some Betfair software. MFP is an automated Betfair trading software made by the “Welldone Software” team. These guys have created other betting tools as well, which I’ll cover in a different review.
The MFP website is professional and very clean-looking. By reading through some of the articles, some of you may find difficult to understand a few things here and there. This is because they use some specific terminology (triggers etc). that you won’t find in any other Betfair trading software.
MFP’s support is top notch. I have received detailed answers to all of my e-mails within 24-48 hours, which isn’t bad. You can always wish for a faster responses, but that’s the way it works.
They have just recently opened a forum specifically for MFP users and potential customers. Nothing much happens there yet, but it’s a good sign that company is thinking about the community.
Purchasing is very straightforward and you’ll receive download information instantly. There are several subscription options available: 1 week, 4 week and life-time. If you’re interested in purchasing MFP, I suggest you try the 1 week trial for £10, to see if it suits you.
The Software
The first versions of Market Feeder Pro were very complicated because they were built in Excel interface. But they recently launched Version 5.0, and it’s a stand-alone version. It has a very easy to understand interface, and the usual Windows-style buttons.
The software comes with a help section, but to be honest, it took me few weeks to fully understand how everything works. There are many specific terms used in the help manual as well in the software itself. But I suppose, it’s well worth learning, because no one else offers such a versatile Betfair trading work station.
One more thing to keep in mind – in order to run MFP properly, you’ll definitely need a high-speed (cable, DSL) Internet connection and powerful PC. A slower connection will work fine with simple trades, but if you build complicated trigger combinations, a high-speed Internet connection is a MUST!
How It Works
There are 2 parts involved in MFP:
The first one is a usual ladder interface. With this, you can trade on Betfair with a single click. Indicators like price, volume meters help you to make the right decisions. I won’t get into details here because it’s basically the same features offered by other trading stations.
The second one is much more sophisticated, and it also has something that sets it apart from any other trading software out there – Trigger Betting.
What is a Trigger Betting? Trigger betting is a way to set up your own conditions when performing any trading action you can think of. Depending on whether these conditions are true or false, your triggers can alert, email, bet, cancel or do these actions together with various parameters.
Trigger Betting basically allows us to build specific scenarios when we want to place bets. For example:
Place a £10 back bet on a favorite In-Play IF the price in first 30 seconds drops by 30 ticks (which could be a good indicator that horse is going to win).
You can build as many triggers as you like, making this an ultimate Betfair trading station. You can save, connect, or disable triggers any way you like. Market Feeder Pro allows you to test any betting system without spending a dime, as the software has a “Test” mode that lets you place bets with “fun money.”
There is so much more MFP can do for you, including automatic hedging, greening-up, arbitrage and much more. To see full list of software’s features, please visit the MFP website.
Results
Market Feeder Pro does not guarantee that you’ll make a profit by using it (which is only fair because it’s just a software program). Results will depend on your strategy, trigger combination, etc. So don’t expect to make money simply by buying this software. You have to have an idea about how you’ll use it.
Conclusions
Without a doubt – Market Feeder Pro is the most advanced Betfair Trading software on the market. It may seem too complicated for beginners, but experienced traders will benefit greatly from the features offered by this software.
This software isn’t cheap but I can understand why – MFP is a tool for serious people. If you can’t afford the £28 per month, this probably isn’t for you.
“Welldone Software” has created something very special here, and with the right attitude and knowledge in Betfair Trading, you can expect to make a hell a lot of money with Market Feeder Pro.

Market Feeder PRO is a fantastic piece of software and even though it is a bit complex at first you will gradually see that almost any idea you can think of can be put to work with MFP.
Once you have your trading system set up you can start to paper trade it and see the flaws it has so that you can go back to redisign your system and retest it.
You have access to all the sports Betfair has available so you can design and leave running systems for each sport you want.
I still am in the learning and testing phase but MFP has allowed me to refine my ideas and see where I was right and where I was wrong.
Make sure you have a powerful computer and DSL internet.
The price they charge for a lifetime license is reasonable. you have to consider that it is a superior product with good technical assistance and all upgrades are free. It is well worth the money
Nice article…very informative…I’ve visited the MFPro site myself and although it appears to be a wonderful tool, i get the impression that it’s very complicated, and may be a bit too much for an average joe like me…..I noticed they also have a tool on their website called Auto-BF (www.auto-bf.com) which appears to be an “idiots” version of MarketFeeder Pro…. have you tried using this, and could you please post your comments?
thanks and keep up the great work with the site
