Overview
Tennis Trading League is a Betfair trading video course. To be more precise – it’s comprised of three independent systems and each of them can be used depending on respective circumstances on Betfair tennis market.
Why tennis? That was the question I asked Patrick when he first contacted me a few months ago telling he had a perfect set of Betfair trading strategies. The answer was – this Betfair market is perfect for scalping methods as the odds can’t technically go the opposite way when the point is scored.
Now Tennis League includes not only scalping strategies. If the televised match is impossible to trade on Betfair, you can switch over to trading long-term odds fluctuations. And using one system doesn’t exclude the possibility of using another – it’s some kind of a Betfair strategy unison.
But the question stands – can an average Joe make the amount of profits Patrick promises on his website? And how good the product is for a person like you or me to understand and implement?
So I asked Patrick for a purchase link and started to download the systems on my hard drive. There are five files you get altogether – three main systems and two bonus eBooks. A good amount of digital material for reading and viewing – and I spent the whole evening studying it.
The System
Tennis Scalper is all about trading on instant odds fluctuations caused by players scoring. More than a hundred page eBook gives a thorough analysis of all points’ impact on odds during live tennis matches. The focus has been put on break points, set points and a number of other occasions.
Even with my tiny knowledge of tennis rules I could understand the principles behind the strategies. Patrick gives just enough from tennis theory as it’s needed for this system and I think even those who usually watch soccer or trade horses will switch over to tennis market easily.
Race Your Profits is a long term trading system with video guide. The eBook contains Betfair basics for start-ups which I think isn’t necessary as the same information can be obtained getting a free report on Patrick’s website. However, the video guide tells us exactly when to place the first bet of the trade and when to close it insuring long-term profit.
The strategy is based on backing a losing favourite player and laying him off when he starts leading again. The exact criteria and odds filter are given and you can see how it’s happening in the real life on screen.
The third system – ChampWinnings - is another video eBook similar to Race Your Profits. The trading strategy this time revolves around laying the favourite player and locking in the profit afterwards. To insure long-term profiting Patrick has worked on figuring out the critical levels and exit levels – and you can also see exactly how it needs to be done.
Risk Level
What excites me most about the Tennis Scalper system is that the risk level is reduced to a minimum. Basically you risk losing the difference between the back and the lay sides of the favorite player and if the difference is 0.01 then the risk level is 1%.
What Patrick doesn’t mention on the website is that in always changing market the difference can’t always be the minimum 0.01 – quite often you’ll see 0.02 or 0.04 difference which slightly increases the possible risk.
However – and with this I must agree – if you stick with the basics of the manual and trade only on the points suggested by Patrick the price is very little likely not going to change and at worst you can just go out of the trade with neither having lost nor won anything.
The Race Your Profits and ChampWinnings systems are more risky and not to be taken lightly. As I analyzed tennis matches I could see the market move against me as well. But as the exit strategies are very well explained in the video tutorials – there shouldn’t be any problems with implementing them.
Results
Even after five days of trading I saw that Patrick has given very good general tennis match tendencies in his systems. And a very important factor – the favourite player’s odds drift out too high when he loses thus giving the tennis trading the needed long-term edge.
Tennis Scalper topped up my Betfair account by 90 pounds during three matches I watched. I used only 40 pound stakes so it’s not a bad result. The drawback of this scalping approach is that you’ll get many bets unmatched. But then you don’t lose anything either – just close the trade.
Race Your Profits has the most interesting approach and during the five day testing I had the opportunity to use the system seven times. I won five times and closed the trade with losses twice. Overall profit – 190 pounds.
The potential of ChampWinnings is smaller – at least I think so. From ten trading sessions I had three successful trades. However, when the favourite starts losing, his odds drift out way too high. And if using stop-loss strategy as shown by Patrick, you can make the winning trade a really profitable one.
I made 110 pounds using the ChampWinnings system. However, I didn’t go down, and that’s a good indicator!
Conclusions
The whole tennis trading video package is worth studying and putting in action on Betfair. If only you’re not going to lose your head and try chasing losses, you should be able to get back the systems’ price in two days time at worst.
If you like watching tennis on TV, you can make nice income by using Tennis Scalper. If you don’t care who’s on the court but just want to make money on Betfair – Race Your Profits and ChampWinnings are for you.
Yes, by the way, you can combine the strategies. I had two opportunities to implement ChampWinnings after Race Your Profits in the same match. It all came together like pieces of a puzzle!

I have bought a lifetime licence for Market Feeder Pro. Its a great piece of software and I have had a lot of fun with it. Its quite complicated for the beginner but there are lots of example triggers that can be used as building blocks to build your own strategies. It also has a Test mode so you can test automated strategies without risking any money. I wish it had a few better options for one click trading but this is a small quibble. I would reccomend having a look at this if you are serious about the exchanges.
